Introducing our newest service: Internet 101
We will custom-design a class just for you, whether you are a beginner,
or whether you just want to find out more about the many possibilities
open to you through new technologies. Internet 101 is not about setting up a computer system, or fixing your broken computer,
but about learning to fully utilize the Internet.
The basic Internet 101 is two 30-minute telephone calls, 1-on-1 with Jean Lachowicz, scheduled at your convenience. Additional sessions can be added if needed, or we will refer you to talented professionals if your needs are beyond Jean's expertise.
As an option, Jean will tape record both calls and send you the casette tapes for your future reference.
We will cover exactly what YOU want to know! Classes are 1-on-1 with Jean. They are informal, conversational, and extremely interactive--not lectures. Every class is different because every class is custom-designed for each individual person.
Here's a great opportunity to learn Internet basics or specifics in a 1-on-1 class, over the telephone, in the comfort of your own home or office. Jean has vast experience in "talking people through" the Internet, and promises to make the learning process pleasant and comfortable for you!
- Do you want to set up e-mail account(s), go over e-mail basics, learn about sending and opening e-mails and uploading and downloading photos and files, how to get rid of spam?
- Do you want to learn how to navigate websites and utilize links?
- Do you want to learn to use search engines like Google or Yahoo, and find useful information on the Internet?
- Do you want to go to the next level and set up a BLOG, a MySpace or FaceBook page, or join Linkdn.com?
- This program is for you if you want to get more out of the World Wide Web!
How to sign up:
- In order to enroll for Internet 101, you must have the ability to simultaneously be on the telephone and be connected to the Internet
- Complete the Internet 101 registration form
- After receiving your form and payment (basic fee is $60 total for the two 30-minute sessions), Jean will contact you to schedule your classes
- At the agreed-upon dates and times, Jean will call you for your class session
Payment for Internet 101 is required at the time the form is submitted. Credit card payment through PayPal is the preferred method of payment. Checks are also accepted, payable to Urbs In Horto Communications, Inc.
